Custom Fields

I am using Virtuemart 3 / Joomla 3.X. I am new to Virtuemart so I apologize if this question is simple.  I have used a plugin to setup a number of custom fields (size, color, etc).  They work well on the product page and show up in the cart.  However, where are the custom fields displayed on the order?  I need to be able to fill the order with the correct size or color of the product.
