Hi Guys,

Does anyone know how i can design my product page (without me actually hacking the view.php page of the products) so that goolge accepts it as a Structured Data Markup?

If you want more information about google structured data markup visit https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/3069489?

Rich Snippets (check 3rd party forum) and did you try some regular Joomla extensions for markup (Main Joomla Extensions Catalog)?

Meton,
some templates have that already implemented, some not. If you have a google account go into your webmaster tools and choose the additional tools tab. There is a helper tool from Google which is very easy to use. You simply enter one of your product details url and as type simply choose: product. Google will show up the page with the given url. Here you can markup everything necessary and Google creates the html code with the rich snippet data. There you can see how google would place the necessary things inside your template. You just need to add those things into the product details template html and all your products receive rich snippets.
Virtuemart should not provide those things by default, because not everybody want to use that. You can buy a template, which contains those changes as a preconfigured solution or you can do it as described above with every other template.
