Category images not showing consistently.

I have added 11 categories.  I also added images and thumbnails for all the images.  For some reason only a few of them show an image.

I have ruled out the image format and dimensions by using the same image.  I even played with the category names.  I have no idea why this is happening.  Anyone see this as well?

I believe I have similar problem. Thumbnails for products are visible but category thumbnails are not. Please find snapshot enclosed for reference.

Kindly advise how this may be remediated.

Try going to Configuration --> Templates --> Using the Virtuemart jQuery (uncheck )

I've got the same problem . On my phone I can see the category images, but not on my notebook.
@ 100Gods; I try'd it, but badly it's not working.
@ brookh; what did you do to fix this problem? As I can see on your website, it looks very good...and I can see al the images. Hope you can help me and maybe others with a good solution, thanks.
