Value Added Purchasing System - Up-selling

Sorry I am new to virtue mart although not Joomla.

I want to create a value added purchasing system for a website and am not sure if this is the right software for it..

I want to create a system that.

Eg When purchasing an item on a form it then gives an option of purchasing another item off a related menu to upsell

Eg When purchasing an Office Chair - on purchase - A menu of the Office Desks appears (can purchase or close) Up-selling 
 
When purchasing a set of Shoes on purchase - A menu of Dresses appears, on purchase - a Menu of Tops appears on purchase a menu of hair ties Appears (you can opt out at any stage by closing the menu form

Can this be done fairly easily with this software or is there an extension that performs this function.

Or is it fairly involved programming to achieve. I believe this system would be in great demand. Encouraging other items to be purchased.

Am keen on peoples ideas thoughts. Cheers for you time and input.
