Capitals,Invalid email addresses,stock

Hiya
Im sure someone else has asked these questions but after about an hour looking i cannot find the answers so here goes.

1. when people try and register it is all in CAPITALS.
2. some people cannot register at all as it says invalid email address
3. Stock levels are not going down when ordered , I did read something about this as they only go down when posted but someone did say there was a way to make them go down when ordered but the thread ended.

Please help me and sorry if these have been mentioned before but I cannot see them
