Since J2.5 is to have further bug fixes and another beta release we would really need to wait for RC1 at least before looking at intsllation issues. https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/joomlabugsquad/7Syn9jKUyvI/discussion.

At the moment it is more useful to the VM community to fix the remaining bugs in VM2 and develop the plugins that we have so many requests for.
