Any way to trigger/add a module within virtuemart category list?

I would like to add a 3rd party image slider or a banner image fader module to the top of virtuemart 2 category products list.
Anyone know how to do this yet?

I tried adding <jdoc:include type="modules" name="slidergallery" style="custom" /> to category description  but that code gets stripped out.
Also tried {loadposition slidergallery} but as I cant enable that module for the vm page due to it not being an article, it doesnt show...

if you use the joomla menu system you can.

OR modules anywhere can do it
