Number of uppercase characters limited in ZIP codes

Hello.
On Virtuemart 4.2.4 and Joomla 4 discovered problem with customer registration.
Impossible to enter third character of second part of postcode in uppercase. Only two characters allowed and than you can only enter a lowercase characters. British postcodes contains 3 or 4 characters in first part and 3 and second (eg SW1S 1CC) and them all uppercase characters. How can I fix it?
