Translation VM in French for VM 4.0.12 10777

Hello Everyone
Well I finely translated all VM in French, and it worked very well at version 4.0.8, but since version 4.10.x, the fields of the following admin are no longer translated
Error for me or is there something new with the latest version and VM Admin?

I also attach MY Translation, because when I did it on Transifex, it never puts the name of the person who translated, and that's a shame, because we don't know who participated and sweated for a lot of expressions
And as I have done it a few times already, I want it to be known, and that we see that there are members who participate, without anyone knowing.


Either if someone has an idea for this error, or anomaly, I thank you in advance.

You might have an 'illegal' character (for example a third " in the string between the starting " and the end " somewhere in your version of the French language files. If I install them I get the same result as you get. But if I install the French language pack from https://virtuemart.net/community/translations/virtuemart/fr-FR, it works. I did notice that with your version the fr-FR.com_virtuemart_config.ini was listed as not loaded in Joomla language debug. But at a first glance I didn't see something wrong in that file. I might have a look at it again after Christmas (if you don't find the problem yourself). 

Of course your effort to complete the French translation is very welcome, but we don't list all the contributors to translations in the language file headers. The list would become very long over time. At present there are 1,669 translators for 70 languages (of which many are not active anymore).

So nobody knows the work that some have done for VM and it is not considered
For this I put here the Fr translation of Virtuemart

For All translation in Fr completed just upload the Zip

I'm not sure if that is a good idea. I think most french users are used to 'le template'. The French Joomla language files also stick to 'Template' instead of 'Garbarit'.

VirtueMart is using a free open source account on transifex. For these transifex did remove the translation reports, which included who did what, some years ago. The cost to make them visible again would me more than 1000 Euro per year. (BTW - I did the VM 2+ translation into German alone and still maintain it. So I know how much time is involved in that)

Do I understand your previous post correctly, that you have been translating on transifex for a long time already? If so, you may send me a private message in this forum with your username. (I'm just curious)
