Control access to products (or category) via Shoppergroup or ACL?

Hi there,

I'm trying to determine if it's possible to offer my clients access to a restricted selection of products once they login to the store?

A number of clients allow staff to order branded uniforms via the website, of course I want each company to only be able to order their own branded selection, and no one else's. Is that a possibility?

If so, is it done via shoppergroups or some other method? Do I need a 3rd party plugin to achieve this?

This is possible with standard VM. Just mark each collection which usergroup is able to acccess it.

You have to of course create a usergroup for each collection and assign this to the relevant user.

By usergroup are you referring to the core Joomla ACL 'User: Groups' or the Shoppergroup - part of VM?

With user groups i actually mean shopper group, sorry for the confusion. If You look under Product information i VM BE You will see Shooper group (Available to All) as an option.
