How to test PayPal Smart Buttons

PayPal Smart Buttons are easy to enable. Just create a PayPal Express checkout method like described here http://docs.virtuemart.net/manual/shop-menu/payment-methods/paypal-express-checkout.html

Then just enable in the "layout section" the Smart Buttons. The whole "Language depended logo configuration" is obsolete then. Next version enabling of Smart Buttons will be moved to "PayPal settings" and the old options will be marked as deprecated or we just hide them per js.

Hi,
I'm trying to setup paypal Smart Buttons in my e-shop. I've followed the your instructions regarding the Paypal express checkout (sandbox mode), also I've checked the "Enable Smart Buttons" but no smart buttons are displayed.
Paypal's page for integrading smart buttons is https://developer.paypal.com/docs/checkout/integrate/ Do I have to follow these instructions?

How I can solve the problem?

1. No smart buttons are displayed
2. Not able to select radio paypal button

Hello everyone,

In my experience, it worked fine but what appears is the checkout button only. There is no (Debit or Credit card) button.

Is there anything I can do to make the debit or credit card button appear?

Also when clicking on the checkout button if the cart is empty then I get a browser message like what I attached.

This issue was related to the one I reported here

It's better to restrict the user from checkout and send a request to Paypal if the cart is empty instead of letting end user see integration based errors.

It solved After I disabled Redirect Joomla to VirtueMart registration in VM Framework Loader during Plugin Updates.

- Enhanced PayPal Smartbuttons. Shows PayPal Button now also when logged in.
Added also header for Access-Control-Allow-Origin.

When we enabled the smart button as a sandbox mode. it redirects to the live PayPal site. We are using VirtueMart 3.8.4 10335. the config is attached.
