Customer field age_verification problem

Hi, I needed to choose in the customer optional field an age_verification field. However instead to show dates from 1920 as put in the /com_virtuemart/sublayouts/customfield.php override it shows only a choice between 2019 and 2020. Don't understand how to solve it.
