Credit Card Checkout service with "no" fees

Hello!

I am making a website and client needs credit card payment method

i wanted to go with https://www.2checkout.com/pricing/?source=lv , evrything is good and straight forward, but as our shop goods ar quite cheap and business is very samlll 2.4% + 30¢ per trasnaction, client straret to doubt is it profitbale for such a small business

I wanted to ask Can somene sugest credit card checkout plugin with "no" fees or very litle fees...?

I doubt u will find any payment gateway that won't charge ~ 3-5%

That is what they are there for...

Many small (and large - Ryan Air for one) businesses pass the cost on to the client -- i.e charge a fee if u pay by CC -- most plugins have a setting for this

Payment Service Providers / Merchant acquirers  charge fees

This reduces the final value of the funds that they pay to you for a transaction that goes through their service.  Note that some acquirers have a whole host of fees that should be considered.

For very low margin businesses - these transaction fees can make certain payment types non viable unless (as GJC suggested) a fee is charged for certain payment methods

VM allows for fees to be charged for payments methods as part of the payment plugin parameters.

Customers often dislike such fees - so it is traditional to factor these into the price a customer pays.
