Full name = First + middle + last name???

I used Vm 3 and joomla 3.
It have First name, middle name and last name. Can i combine it to Full name ( 1 field text)?
I hide middle name and last name, but first name don't show full name, only some word.

How/why are you hiding last name and middle name

You say you have all the name components, did the customer input these.

Think he wants a single input field for "full name"

as none of them are required why not just publish e.g. only first name and change the label to full name?

yes, single input, first name change to full name.
But override language first name to full name => done, but when customer write full name, it only first name, ex: Full name: Pham Xuan Vinh, but it only show PHAM.

2nd, if u only use one field for input then obviously u only have 1 field for output so the output needs to be adjusted

hello, yes, this is a known but in our current version of OPC which resulted in different behavior of first and last name among different VM versions so in your case OPC moved the last name into last name which now can be among disabled fields.

i already adjusted the code in OPC and i can send you the update by email, pls use our support ways, especially email during the business hours as the primary support channel.

i am now sending you the update for this, case but please consider:
- not using last name can be vast effects on various third parties such as payment processors, tracking system and many other software that mabe expecting it to exist
- for this reason you can mark the last name as "custom rendered" in OPC and thus it will get hidden, but still would be available to the processors and 3rd parties.
