Client recieves confirmation e-mail after product checkout is done..?

Hello!

I would like to make such thing, that Client recieves confirmation e-mail automatic after product checkout is done..? without confimation from admin area

At this moment i have go ot virtuemart-orders and change status form pending to confirmed, than client recieves confirmation e-mail

i think i must select something there virtuemart- configuration - emails, but i try and no luck..

How can i do that...

The behaviour you are describing is base VM and has been discussed before in the forums.

Emails are not sent if the "default" pending state is set.

You can configure your payment method to use a state other than pending for customer confirmed orders.

Please explain your order status settings and what payment method you are using

Thank you, yes i have to configure payment method, have to put  "Order Status for Pending transactions-  confirmed" / were conformed by shopper, evrything makes sense.

Normally u wouldn't use confirmed ... that means "paid"

Typically you make a new status  e.g. "Awaiting Payment"  and send the email on that

then when they pay it can go to confirmed
