Users can not register after update to VM 3.0.16

After the latest updates i see that new customers can not register.

When the fill out the registration form it comes back to it again....no user account is created and no error message comes up.
Don`t know what is going on now...

Joomla registration has to be acitvated to make virtuemart checkout/registration working !!!???

That is new !!
I never had joomla registration enabled as i think....because users always have to register with the virtuemart registration page.

I dont want that users can only register in joomla without comlete Profile information.

not new.. was always so ...BUT ..the later J3's default to deactivated where as the older where activated
