Hi,

I want to buy the amazing template axxen in order to create an e-shop, but 1st i want to ask a couple of questions,

1. I want the ordered product to be picked up ONLY from the store. (so NO shipping or other delivery way)..
2. According to 1. i want to keep the credit card number from the order and charge it ONLY in case of NO SHOW UP of the customer in the store...
3. In success case of show up the customer will pay in cash in the store or if he/she wants will pay with the specified credit card...

All the above 3 requests are possible to happen with AXXEN template ????

Please some help guys,,,,  :-[

thank you in advance,,  :)

Never heard of that template for Joomla, but what you are asking is about VirtueMart configuration.  You can configure the shopping process however you like. VirtueMart is open source (free) software and works with just about any Joomla template.

Hi  jenkinhill,

Thank you so much for the info,

I m a 1st runner in virtuemart thats why i m asking this questions in order to know before i ll buy..never use it before...

The template i talking about its a virtuemart template,, its quite amazing,,, and its here,

http://demo.virtuemarttemplates.net/joomla3/axxen/

So according to your answer these questions are possible to happen just by configuring virtuemart , and a last question is ,

I ll have any support after buying the template?

please forgive me for all these strange questions

Thank you in advance,

jenkinhill

That template is not to my liking, but everybody has their own taste. If you are just starting with VirtueMart then I would suggest making setting up a Joomla website and installing VirtueMart on it. There is no cost involved in this (Joomla and Virtuemart are free) except for hosting if you decide to use a proper server, and you then have the opportunity to get to learn how to configure Joomla and VM. The template you like mainly changes the way that the site is displayed, and has little to do with actual function.

One problem with using commercial templates is that you do require on-going support and possible updates from the template developer as Joomla & VirtueMart updates are applied. This may be costly. There have been comments in the forum about the quality of support for these templates, but that may have improved now.
