Virtuemart Product Seach by Manufacturer

Hello everyone,

I have a site where the requirement is,

- There is a drop down populated with Manufacturers
- If a Manufacturer is selected then another drop down will be populated with the Product Model/Kind (it's not MVC Model, it's the model of the products).
- After selecting Manufacturer and Product Model when I submit the form the search results will be shown in category layout

I have done first 2 points. My problem is, I can not search products by Manufacturers and Models. I have searched a lot, but couldn't find any way, how to search products by Manufacturers. Can you please suggest me? Thanks.
