Delivery date same as invoice date??

The VM PDF invoice value for the Delivery Date reads "Same as invoice date". First of all that is impossible and secondly I do not want to commit any delivery date on any order!!

Better yet, how can I disable the creation of the PDF invoices?

Not for downloads. If you do not sell downloads, you should change the config setting.

The date is for the invoice. An order is NOT an invoice. In a lot countries the delivery date must be written on the invoice, else it the invoice is invalid.

The way I do it is to create a order status code of "No invoice"

Then I use this in the "Emails" configuration tab

"Default Order Status to create an invoice"   Choose "No invoice"

That way the status will be Not set by any payment process and an attempt to create a PDF invoice will not occur.

The normal date is the shipment date+delivery time. I must admit, I did not write that perfectly yet.
