[BUG] Multi-Variant Child products dropdown on Browse Page does not update Detai

Applies to VM 3.0.9

Steps to Reproduce the Issue.
VM / Configuration / Shopfront / Product Listing / Show Product customfields in browse views IS CHECKED
Browse to Categories page / browse the category
select a child item from the drop down and it goes to the products page
click add to cart

BUG

Item does not get added to cart, 
Instead you must select the child product again in order for the product to be recognized.

Suspected Cause
Java Script handling the dropdown menu is not passing variables to the browser and to php correctly.

Workaround???
