ReferenceError: vmCartText is not defined

Hi,

I bought a theme virtuemart template monster on (I do not advise !!!) I did not notice but the theme was sold with a very old version of virtuemart (2.0.20b). I have so I have updated to 2.6.12.2.

Since I get an error just like here:

ReferenceError: vmCartText is not defined

in Firebug (Firefox).
The problem is that lightbox will not open and the basket will be put out of date, unless I'm F5. But that's not good for my clients.

I contacted template-monster who said that we should not do update !!!
I do not tell you what I said, but I highly recommend their service.
I should have bought my theme virtuemart.net as I had already done for another shop, where the hotline Verily was great!

If anyone could help me solve this problem would be great.

It will be a problem with the TM template overrides. You could try switching the the default VM templates by renaming the directory templates/yourTMtemplate/html/com_virtuemart  This should give you a usable site as long as TM did not touckh other parts of VM.  Then you can compare the override files with the default VM files to work out what changes they made.

Note that latest in the VM2 series is 2.6.17
