How to setup purchase-order and pay later?

Hello

Does anyone know how to setup a pre-order system with a payment-choise after a certain status change?
The products in my shop have no shipping costs, I add these shipping costs manual because of the various shipping prices.
Actually, this is what I want to use:

• Customer comes to shop and makes his order
• On checkout no payment or shipping choice will appear
• Shopowner receives the order
• Shopowner adds the shipping costs manual
• Shopowner changes the status of the order to something like "prepaired for payment"
• Customer receives new status and comes back to the store to login
• Customer sees new price ( inluding shiping costs ) and can proceed to payment gateway of his choise
• Customer makes payment

Is this possible in the "standard" VM-2.6.6 version or do I need an extra plugin(s) for this?

I found a great solution on https://www.daycounts.com/ , the "Finalize Order plugin" in combination with Shopper-Groups does the trick for my shop.

Hi jantabak,

Do you have have an example site where I can view the functionality of Finalize Order plugin? I am interested in applying exactly the same functionality to a VirtueMart application but would like to see it in use before I purchase the plugin. It's for a client and I don't want to increase the cost of the project unnecessarily.
