We come from a course about software development. We have a plan to develop a debt management system software and apps in the future. May I know what IT skills that I need to learn before developing a software and apps?

First you have do decide what language you going to approach. Like am example if you want to develop system more to web system you may use like PHP, C # and java and so on.
Beside , you also need to learn the database. how the way to manipulate the data is very important to the system.
Next, is data flow.
lastly, testing you program before release.
