Hi

This is my first post on here so please go easy on me if i dont explain properly.

I have been working on a small site for a friend  based on Joomla 2.5.25 with Virtuemart 2.6.10.
It was almost ready to go live when I discovered (during a test transaction) that the vendors name and address was displayed in the header section of order confirmation emails.

I searched this forum and discovered what I thought was a fix. Basicly I edited a file which I now cannot remember the name of.
I think it was one of the following.
mail_html_header
mail_html_notify
mail_html_vendor

but I don't know for sure.

Anyway, my new issue is that the header area of the customer's confirmation email is grey and shows two areas where images are missing. I would like this area to show the vendors logo or shop name if possible.

I have included a screen grab of an email to show what I mean.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'll guess that you made a novice mistake and did not use the edited file as a template override?  Looking at the image I'd guess it was mail_html_header you edited.

If you did use it as an override then delete that file so the original can be used. Or if you kept a copy of the original then reinstate it, and if you did not keep a copy then unpack your local copy of VM component and fish the file out of there to replace your edited file. Then make sure that it works.

You can then edit the file using correct image links, and install that file as an override.   ( http://docs.virtuemart.net/tutorials/33-templating-layouts.html  http://www.ostraining.com/blog/joomla/overrides )

There is also the header editor/configurator in Shop/Invoices/Emails
