Show subcategories list in subcategories

Hello,

I've been trying to get this done but I still can't find how, can anybody help me giving me a big of direction?

Basically I have a category like this:

Category level 1
---- Subcat 1
---- Subcat 2
---- Subcat 3

When I'm in Category level 1 I can see the list of subcategories, but when I go into Subcat 2, for example, I would like to be able to see the list with Subcat 1 and subcat 3.

Is this possible?

iv'e done this through a module. you can add a category-menu module on the page, and filter the levels so that it only displays all the brother categories of the category being displayed.
