Search is not working(Updated)

Hello,

after a migration from 1.9 to 2.6 everything seems fine but the product search is not working.
If i type a keyword in the search field VM can find nothing, why?
The plugin is activate.

Edit1: Fyi ... i've tried a other template and deactivated all other extensions, always with the same result, the search can't find anything.
Edit2: If i test with http://www.genius-webdesign.com/joomla-extensions/38-genius-virtuemart-ajax-search
the search are working. So what is going wrong with the VM search module?

Unless you provide a live site link it is very difficult to suggest anything - the search is basically a category view with some special parameters - have you tried with SEF off to see the actual Posts being sent?
