Categories Order...does not work

Hi,
I want to sort my categories in "my own" order but when I click the arrows, nothing happens. The Back End "thinks" a while but that's it. I can't even use the boxes(with numbers) to change order of my categories.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
It's possible to do some coding?

All ordering numbers are 8.



I have Joomla 2.5.14, Virtueamart 2.0.22a
I paid a template that is only compatible with this version. That is why I can not to update.

Maybe press Save icon in column header before reordering?

May have been a bug in that old version. Works OK in the current VM2.6 
You should really try to update - running a store using Joomla & VM versions known to insecure is asking for trouble.  http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=118683.0
