Custom field visibility dependent on another custom field - is it possible?

I'm looking to have a custom field only become visible on the front end, depending on another custom fields answer.

For instance, The workflow would be something like the following:

Custom field #1 : Yes or No question

If yes, display Custom Field #2
if no, display custom field #3

Is this possible? (Child products is not an option for this store).

I have the same question and have been looking all around on the internet but whithout a solution for the moment.

My knowledge of Javascript en Php is not enough to solve this by myself.
But I am sure that it shoud be possible by changing a Virtuemart file.

If someone can fix this I would be very thankfull.
