Can't enter words with white spaces in userfields

I'm running Virtuemart 2.0.26d. If I try to fill userfileds to register a new shopper I can't enter words with white spaces. How can I turn this limitation off?

Please note that joomla do not allow usernames with white spaces.

Maybe you could tell us which specific user field you mean?

I don't mean the field username. I mean the fields First Name, City, Address and so on i.e. all user fields of Virtuemart have the above limitation

So let's clarify if I understand you.

For example the field for the address. It's impossible to enter something like "Main Street 28" ?

Am I correct?
