I am new to Joomla and virtuemart and i have no php knowlegde.
I am using joomla (2.5.17) and virtuemart(2.0.26d)

My problem is as follows.
When a customer now orders something and then goes to shoppingcart for payment. They have to fill out everything on one page. Many of my costumers complain about that.
I have heard that in the old virtuemart the customers took some steps before they checkout.

What i want after a customers orders a product is as follows :

Step 1: customer details need to be added; (then a button "next")
Step 2 : shipping choice
Step 3: payment choice (paypal/ideal)
Step 4 : a thank you note.

Can anyone help me ?
