Too many checkout steps

After payment has been processed by paypal I would prefer it to just say thank you and the process should be finished, the customer shouldn't have to confirm anything else as they have ordered and payed. BUT the are taken to a page where they have to CONFIRM THE ORDER even after they have paid. Could this step just be the THANK YOU step and automatically mark it as confirmed? Anybody please!!!!!!!

Which PayPal process are you using? I used Express for a recent site and don't have that problem.
