Product is not updated to the cart when click on "Add to Cart"

Hi All,

Related Details:
1) Create New Account is linked to Joomla Registration
2) "S5 Column Cart AJAX" module installed and enabled for all product pages
3) Modal pop enabled at Components => Virtuemart => Configuration => Checked the option "Display modal popup upon 'Add to cart'   "


Version Details:
Joomla : 2.5.16
Virtuemart : 2.0.26a
PHP  :  5.3.23
MySQL:  5.5.32

After performing the steps below the product should be added to the cart instead the cart is empty. [screenshot attached]

1. Go to site Front End
2. Create a new user account [ linked to Joomla registration(index.php?option=com_users&view=registration) ]
3. Open the mail and click on the activation link
4. Clean the cache of the browser
5. Login with the new user
6. Navigate to Store -> Category1
7. Click on parent product1 and select child product from the drop-down menu
8. Click "Add to Cart" button and it opens the modal pop up window and product is updated in the cart module(S5 Column Cart AJAX)
9. Click "Show Cart" and remove added child product from the cart page
10. Navigate to Store -> Category1
11. Click on parent product2 and select child product from the drop-down menu
12. Click "Add to Cart" button and and it opens the modal pop up window and product is not updated in the cart module(S5 Column Cart AJAX)
13. Click "Show Cart" results empty cart in the cart page. [here also product is not updated]


Can anybody has the same issue, is there any fix to this issue. Please let know the solution if any body knows.
