Customfields containing plus symbol

I have an issue when filtering custom field with plus symbol in it (im using Joomla 2.5, Virtuemart 2, Cherry Picker as a filter)

So if i try to choose a filter with plus symbol in it, it doesnt find the goods in Virtuemart. And when i look in URL , it shows the custom field value without plus.

If in url directly i put the %2B instead, it works fine.

I've tried changing + to %2B via firebug the input and submit the form, but it will not work this way, the filter finds nothing and in URL it changes %2B back to +... And if i submit again without changing anything URL changes + to space...

Any ideas how to get it working?

You need to ask author of Cherry Picker.
