Hi,

I have just finished up on a new module for Virtuemart called promoteXpress

This module basically makes it possible to automatically post random product promotions on your Twitter and Facebook pages based on the discount of the products.
You simply install the module and insert your Twitter and Facebook APP keys, and then there are options to set the minimum discount percentage for the products you want to post on Twitter and Facebook.
You can also input a "pre-text" and you currency code and also a special "savings text".
After you have made all the requred module settings you must publish the module to a valid template position on all pages and visit the fron-ent of your site. The module will then store all the needed information in your database.

In order to execute the posts you need to have the "JPrc Cronjobs" component installed which is a free to download component on JED.
Once you have installed the component you simply set up a new cron-task and make it execute a specific URL which is explained on my module page and you can set the interval of the cron-job.

The post output will then be generated like this on both Facebook and Youtube:
[pre-text] [product-name] [product-price] [currency] [savings.text] [discount in percentage]% [product-URL (SEO-friendly)]

Please feel free to test out this module and report back with any issues you may find.
Here is the module page where you will also see a complete setup-guide:
