Add/Edit shipment details - Address nickname*

Can anyone help me ...

In the virtuemart.2.0.10 default 'Add/Edit shipment details' in the on-line form 'Account details' the first available text field requires customers to add an address nickname, the term 'address nickname' is produced by ini file line COM_VIRTUEMART_USER_FORM_ADDRESS_LABEL="Address nickname" so this can be changed to a more appropriate phrase, although I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean. Requiring this detail via a mandatory filed is a little odd ... So how can I remove this field?

In Virtuemart 2.x but also in 1.x You can save several shipping addresses. For instance You may have a summer house and You may wish to send Your goods there, call it Summer House or You want to give away the items to someone You know, You can call it Fred Flintstones address.

The nick name of the adddress is what You see when You scroll through Your saved shipping addresses. This could maybe be solved in another way, but right now is it this solution that is used. This field has to be unique, I think it is used as a index key, but I´m not sure. That is probably the reason to have it mandatory.

When one of our customers writes something like "Mom" or "Sister" and that appears in the invoice is a bit of a lol

There must be a field for customers to identify ship to addresses, they could have many saved, although the address field would be enough actually for that.

IMO what is important is that if the "address nickname" is still used it doesn't appear in the order emails or invoices cause this is a personal note used by the customer to identify an address and not something to be printed in invoices or emails.

Nickname is automated for BT if not present and should be the same for ST if field is not shown on the address input forms.
