I'm a new user of VM version 2

I've this question: I'm trying to do a eCommerce site for glasses' sale and I've this problem.
Every articles is linked to a manufacturer and also linked to categories:

Art A001 Rayban / Sunglasses / For Men
Art A002 Rayban / Sunglasses / For Men / For Women / Unisex
Art D001 Dupont / Lecture / For Men
Art D002 Dupont / Sunglasses / For Women

At the moment, with Virtuemart v. 2.0.20b and Joomla 2.5.9 ita, I can find articles from a category.
But how can I find articles that satisfy many categories/manufacturer? For example all glasses Rayban + Sunglasses + For men? or plus in a range price?

I don't know if I've to search the solution looking for new modules or plugin or extension for VM or maybe in template?
