When i Click on View Cart button i am getting 404 error

My add to cart button is properly working and also update cart when i click on add to cart button but when i am click on view cart button i am getting 404-page not found error. i had also  unchecked Enable SSL for sensitive areas (recommended) as per your discussion about virtuemart 1.1 but still it is not working so please help me out with this issues.

My Virtuemart version is 2.0.14
and joomla version is 2.5.8

I am working in localhost... site is not live yet.

The Virtuemart version is quite old now (we are at 2.0.20b), and you should update Joomla to 2.5.9. But are you using SEF?

yes sir i was using  SEO Settings

    Search Engine Friendly URLs   yes

    Use URL rewriting   yes

    Adds Suffix to URL   yes

I just replace all yes with no and its working...... thank you sir

but sir i want to ask a question that is why SEF is not supported?

SEF is supported, but don't turn it on until you are on a real server, then you can set .htaccess up properly and ensure that VM and Joomla SEF are both turned on..
