Paid Downloads Need Exempt From Shipping

Using VM 2.0.20b
The website has physical CD's and downloadable MP3's.

For example, I have a Shipment Method called Download - No Shipping.  In Minimum number of products and Maximum number of products I left the values empty.  In Shipping for one CD the In Minimum number of products is empty and Maximum number of products is set to 1.

In the downloadable product all the settings for Product Dimensions and Weight are set to zero and Units in Box I left empty.  Product Dimensions and Weight are set to "Units in Box [1]"

I like the feature in the shipping where I can set the number of items per shipping cost. 1 item = $3, 2-3 = $4, etc.  Sense downloads do not require shipping is there a way to exempt them?

Does your downladable products plugin not cancel shipping for those items?
