How Do I Install The Sample Data?
I didn't install it the first time because I was testing the install, and now it won't give me the option anymore .. ?

any hints?

In VM Configuration set Enable database Update tools to yes. Make sure you save.

Go to Tools / Tools & Migration. Hit the "Reset all tables and install sample data" button.

That works OK on VM2.0.1e - have not tested this with earlier versions.

i followed your instructions and got the problem that all pictures are not avaliable in VM.

what is meant by this line?:
Warning, the Safe Path is empty, for safety reasons it is very important to create a folder in a path not accessible by an URL, create also a folder invoices in it to store your sensible data secure. Our suggested path is for your system C:\wamp\vmfiles

has it anything to do with my problem?

Safe path?  In the FAQs - http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=98633.0

Check the image filenames, as they can get truncated in some setups and lose the filename extension. If so just unpack the com_VM component and copy the images over from admin/components/com_virtuemart/assets/images/vmsampleimages into your Joomla installation image directory to replace the files currently there.

Hello,
i'm using vm 2.0.11, when i click on "Reset all table and install sample data"
the config table erased and i got this error:
"JDatabaseMySQL::query: 1146 - Table 'vm2.erx_virtuemart_configs' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT * FROM `erx_virtuemart_configs`"

what possibly go wrong here ?

VM2.0.11 or VM2.0.11d? These are development versions, updated every few days for testing by experienced VM users to iron bugs out before it is stable and then will be released as 2.0.12
