change preview of products

Hi!
I have virtuemart 2.0.2 (old) and joomla 2.5,
The problem I have is that I want to put in the preview of the items (For example you enter on a category and then click and spot a list of products) I want to see the name and manofacturer and the short desc, but now I only have short description, but not all the text in the short description, only 40 characters, so I can't put the brand and the name, or a little image.
I tried to search if its a problem of css but not, because when I change the weight the short description continues being short.(cutted).
Last thing I tried is searching the php, in order to get the php file of this view to add the manoifacturer name and the product name, but I can't find it.

so, could anyone help me with this, please?

Not only is that a year old version of VirtueMart, it also has known security issues, so should not be used on a live website. Since that version VM templating has improved and become easier to re-style. MY advice is to upgrade (we are now at 2.0.20b with 2.1 not too far away) and then built template overrides to do what you want with the display.

Ok, I would change to the last version to see if I can better understand it...
