Products link to Shop, not product

Joomla: 2.5.8

Hi,   On my category layout, if a product has child products, then clicking on the product takes me to the main VM Shop page, and NOT the product details page.

Any ideas why?

I'm also having this issue.

For products that are children of an unpublished parent, the product details page will not load from the shop's front-page (it's a top-level category layout) I get taken me to the manufacturer page instead.

If I go to that product's category page, the same product will load a product-details page.

If I then go back to the front-page, the product that did not load before will load just fine. This process repeats if I'm away from the site for a few hours.
Its like the site needs to remember where these pages are.
