Layout problem with missing ItemID

Hello,
since layout structure in Joomla very dependent with ItemID, i want to ask how you resolve this situation :

"Continue Shopping" and "Show Cart" in Pop Up Notification is set without itemID, i can't find anywhere on how to set itemID for it

is it really necessary to do corehack ?

- Joomla 2.5.8
- VM 2.0.16

I think it is not necessary  , don't waste your time .

Hi,
i have the same problem. I found a solution here which works - but it is not good enough to have to chnage the core files.
