problem with custom fields selection after patch

hi there

got a problem with a custom field selector on my virtuemart template. see the site here: http://test.cariss.co.uk/big2/index.php/product-details-layout

before i applied an update to virtuemart i could select the different sizes and colours. now after applying latest patches and update to virtuemart clicking on the other size options does nothing. can anyone see what the problem is?

all the custom options have the same id number. i think it may be related to this bug here: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=104984.msg367976#msg367976

but ive tried inserting the code suggested and its made no difference. can anyone help?
