VM - Search in Shop options

I cant find this documented, but are there options in what displays  for VM - Search in Shop.  When I published it showed all the Categories, then the results of the products found.  Can that be controlled or needs code modification.

I cant show site for they are live.  I am using  VM 2.014 and Joomla 2.5.7.   I might have to setup a test area to show what I mean if needed.

Thanks for the reply.

I have looked at the above links.  That code already exist in VM 2.014 (which I am using).  Is there a switch to turn on anything?

The site in question is www.ontariospecialty.ca .  I am using another search entry field, but if you press the right button it brings you to the search page.

What am I missing?

I don't understand you ... that code changes i recommend will help you to show categories after products or if search is taking place do not show the categories, what exactly is your issue?
