Help with Category page layout

The product thumbnails are being laid it in a weird way. For some reason, some of the rows only have 2 products instead of 3 (the 2nd row, for instance). Below these rows with only 2 items, there is horizontal line separator. How do I change the layout so that all rows have 3 products and eliminate the horizontal line separators?

this is not exactly a template issue, vm version 2.0.10 and prior doesn't have an option how may products will be show in the fly page, so you edit it by your own or override fly page template for that, by default is 5. If you upgrade to vm 2.0.12b you will see the new features that you are able to select products Default number of products in a row and how many rows for featured products, Top ten products, recent products and latest products.
