Login Form

I'd like a tiny login to my shop (VM login), say button at the very top of my pages, to the right.
When customers click on it, a window should pop up, fall down, or something like that. Nothing more - and then just the text "You're logged in" and "Manage Your account" f ex. Still on the very top panel.
I don't want anything big and disturbing, since I will nor require registration in my shop. The login is only supposed to be there for people who like to have a registered account for quicker access to history and so on. Well, or if they want to have a quick and simple check out procedure.

I can't find any sort of configuration options in the "Login Form" that comes with VM2. Or am I wrong, is there? I mean for us, not being coding ninjas?

Does anybody have any good idea?
