Change home page problem

Hello,

I am currently using Joomla 2.5 and VM 2.0.6.
I need to change the current home page (VM default layout) for a single article, but when I do, you can not access the store's articles and displayed wrong pages. Does anyone know how I can do?

Hi there

I don't know if it will work but try this:

if you have any modules in the sides of your home page disable them in the module manager so that they show on all pages except for the home page then in joomla make the article for your home page and set it as featured that will make it the default home page and only it will show there.

I think I have not explained well.
I need to continue showing modules, but the main page (which is shown in the center) must be a simple article.
When I try to change it in the main menu to display anything other than the default layout of Virtuemart, products are not displayed correctly.
