VM Search navigating to different section?

Hi All,

I have an issue here when you search in the VM search bar which is on my store front, takes you to a different section of the site where it displays the search results?!

For example,

The default VM search bar which is on the page: http://localhost/www.mylearning_cr.co.za/index.php/store-front
will take you automatically to http://localhost/www.mylearning_cr.co.za/index.php/2012-08-15-13-48-57/search?keyword=business&limitstart=0&option=com_virtuemart&view=category

Why does it take me to an article section? What should i do?
