config problems

I want to work on localhost. I installed VM 2.x on Joomla 2.5x. 2 problems I have:

1. I got notification in config page on admin: "you must create a safe folder .... vmfiles , etc." I created a folder in "www" directory of EasyPHP.
2. "Save" and other buttons do not work in config page. I did not change anything.

What must I do?
