How do I get Product Slideshow for Virtuemart to work on VM 2?

Hi,

I have installed virtuemart 2 for my E-commerce site. I figured latest version = best. Well anyway many, in fact most extensions such as the Product Slideshow don't work on this version of Joomla and I get an error screen.

What is the solution? There are barely any extensions that work but I have already got everything else setup and it took hours. Thanks.

Since VirtueMart 2 has been built from the ground up it uses different ways of interracting with plugins and modules, so the old VM1.1 modules will not work.

The module VM - Featured products is multi-configurable, so can be set to show random or related products and can also use category filters if required. This seriously enhances their usefullness.
